5 insanely flaily in love with Till Page stars
Hold me. I just finished this story and have a million emotions swirling around me. I loved this story so deeply, I swear I am a member of the Page family. The richness of this world is so special and unique, and I feel lucky to have met Till. What an amazing read.
If you read my reviews on a regular basis you know I’m a spoiler-phobe. If you like the same books as me just go in blind like I did. (I didn’t need to read it because I know I will like anything Aly writes so I gladly dove in). What Till had to go through was soul destroying, because after all, he’d been through so much already. I think it was even more touching to read it the way I did, because I didn’t see it coming at all.
Till was tough, he was sweet, he was almost broken, but he wasn’t. He was stubborn, yet loyal to a fault. I am trying so hard not to put the caps lock on, but you need to know I love Till Page fiercely. He was protective of his family and Eliza, but he needed to be protected just as much as they did. *clutches my chest* My friends, Till Page loved and needed to be loved and if you read his story and love him too that will help. Trust me, you’ll see. He is such a strong character, but with just the right amount of humility to make him the epitome of swoony.
Eliza was my favorite type of heroine. I wanted to be her. She was independent, yet needed Till to be whole. She was strong, and it turned out she was the rock for the entire Page family. I would have loved to have known a little bit more about her parents, but at the same time it didn’t really matter because Till and his brothers became her family. She wore her heart on her sleeve and opened herself up to be hurt, but also would accept nothing less than she deserved, I couldn’t help but respect and fall in love with her too.
The romance. It had absolutely everything. Everything I tell you. This was a love story, about a deeply touching love that had all the sparks and fireworks to go along with it. I don’t know how each kissy scene was still hot, still fresh and totally made my heart flutter. Basically I must be in love with Till…that’s the only explanation.
Ms. Martinez isn’t only genius when she creates the main characters, but the secondary ones are brilliant as well. Till’s brothers, Flint and Quarry, made such an impact on my heart. I loved them and wanted to protect them. Their lives haven’t been easy and I can’t wait to hear more from them. To make this story even sweeter we got to see Slate Andrews on a regular basis and I loved that…total icing on the cake.
If you are also like me you kind of want to know if you get your happy ending. Oh man oh man oh man. I can’t spoil, and while I got my HEA, I have ALL THE QUESTIONS. I will be reading the next book the very second Aly releases it because I need more, so much more. My heart also needs to know that Flint and Quarry get their happy endings too. I cannot wait for their journeys.
